Jinger Duggar Turns Baby Finn’s Failed Outing Into A Win

Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, safely welcomed their little boy, Finnegan, on March 29. Shortened to “Finn,” Counting On fans loved the name. However, the first time they decided on a family outing, disaster struck. Still, on social media, the TLC alum revealed they were able to turn it into a win.

The Near-Failure with Finn

On Friday, Jinger took to her Instagram profile page and shared a reel that involved the whole family. Jeremy was there, so was Finn, and the two girls, Felicity and Evangeline. Although the baby boy is only a week old, they decided to go to the park together. 

“The first family outing as a family of 5 didn’t go as planned!” she said, noting that there was “a thunderstorm.” That was a surprise because she said that it “was supposed to be a sunny day at the park.” However, they managed to turn it into a win by doing something else.

What Was The Win?

Fortunately, the family made a “detour to Rita’s for frozen custard.” That went down very well with the two girls, but Finn probably didn’t enjoy it so much. Still, his parents are known to be foodies, so he may as well get used to it. 

TLC fans love that Jinger Duggar Vuolo is sharing lots of news about her son. They probably won’t see the face of the child because they stopped that after the birth of Evangeline in 2020.

One follower wrote in the comments, “We love Rita’s!!!! They closed when we lived in So Cal and so wish they had one in TN!”

Meanwhile, another follower said, “We moved here to Fayetteville three years ago, and I’ve never heard of Rita’s! Thanks for the recommendation… Guess we’ll have to try it!”

Joy-Anna Forsyth Popped Up As Well

Jinger Duggar’s sister, Joy-Anna Forsyth, also turned up in the comments. If you don’t know, she was in Los Angeles ahead of the birth. She supported her sister, and they went on a pre-birth shopping spree together. She commented, “You are amazing for already getting out and about!”

The two women seem quite close now, as they both have three children. Joy welcomed her third child, also a boy, in early 2023. She and her husband, Austin, quite often visit Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo, and a few years ago, Austin contemplated moving to LA permanently.
