Jill Dillard Says Israel Hit A Big Milestone Recently

Counting On alum Jill Dillard and her husband, Derick, recently celebrated a special milestone for their son, Israel. While they don’t show the faces of their boys at all these days, like Jinger Duggar, she does keep TLC fans updated about her three sons. 

Israel’s Big Milestone

On April 7, Jill took to her Instagram and shared some photos of her boys and their dad. Some of them were taken from far away so followers could not see the faces of the kids.

One of the photos showed a big cake with Israel’s name on it.

In her caption, she confirmed that he just had a birthday. And, it’s a significant one because he just turned ten years old. It looks like part of the celebration was attending a concert.

In her writeup,  Jill Duggar Dillard wrote:

Birthday week shenanigans. Can’t believe my first baby has reached double digits now!

Her hashtags added to the story, and she wrote, “#dillardfamilyadventures #birthday #camping #buffalonationalriverarkansas #fishing #icecreamcake.”

Fans Reacted To The Birthday Pics

Israel Dillard was always a favorite of fans. He’s a bright kid and does well in school. Plus, he seems to be kind to his younger brothers, Samuel and Freddy. Occasionally, fans see him with his cousins at big family events in Arkansas. 

In the comments section of the post, one follower wrote, “Happy Birthday Israel! Wow! 10 already. Jill, you are an awesome person! Keep doing what you are doing.”

Plenty of other fans couldn’t believe that Jill Dillard’s oldest son was 10 years old already. In the mind of many people, he’s still a little boy of five or six years old. 

Raised Like Other Kids

Unlike other Duggar family members, Israel attends a public school, and he started that in about Grade 2. He’s a tall kid predicted to grow to over 6ft 2 in height, which might explain why he enjoys playing basketball. 

Sometimes, Jill shows Derick messing around on the basketball court with the kids. Apparently, he was good at the sport when he was at college. Perhaps when Israel gets to high school, he will make the team. Maybe by then, he will allow his mom to share photos of him on social media.
