Ric Has Always Been In Love With Elizabeth

Ric has always harbored deep feelings for Elizabeth; they were once a joyful couple, having married twice, but Ric’s repeated mistakes led to their downfall.

In a moment of desperation, he locked a pregnant Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in a panic room in their house, intending to take her baby Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Ultimately, the kind-hearted Elizabeth chose to distance herself from his criminal activities and left him; recently, Ric returned to Port Charles, still carrying a torch, but she had moved on.

Instead, Elizabeth found herself drawn to her first love, Lucky, upon his return; realizing that his chances with Liz were slim, Ric turned his attention to Ava Jerome (Maura West). However, this doesn’t mean he has forgotten about Elizabeth; he might just be biding his time for the right moment, which could be approaching soon.
