General Hospital Spoilers: The Unexpected Twist – How Diane Sabotaged Ava’s Master Plan-But Did Alexis Sabotage Diane’s?
General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal how Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) helped her best friend with a great plan, to sabotage Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) master plan! Now the only question is, did Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) sabotage Diane’s, at least temporarily?
General Hospital Spoilers: Diane And Alexis Are Best Friends
Who can resist Diane-she’s undoubtedly one of the most entertaining characters in the soap opera world; when Alexis needed assistance, Diane came up with the ideal solution.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Diane is her unwavering friendship with Alexis; these two women consistently support each other through life’s ups and downs. At times, Alexis might not have pulled through without her loyal friend by her side.
Ava believed she finally had Alexis cornered; her ongoing conflict with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) had been on a downward spiral for quite some time, and it ultimately reached a breaking point.
Alexis’ daughter attempted to harm Ava but ended up injuring Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) instead-unfortunately for Kristina, the entire incident was recorded on video.
Ava Blackmailed Alexis Using Her Evidence On Kristina, Alexis Questioned Diane’s Solution
Ava, true to her nature, attempted to extort Alexis for a share of the Cassadine estate’s wealth. Rather than capitulating—at least at first—Alexis turned to her close friend for advice.
Diane proposed a bold solution: have Kristina committed; while this would mean Kristina spending some time in Ferncliff, it would prevent her from facing prison and simultaneously thwart Ava’s blackmail plot. It was a clever two-for-one strategy, thanks to Diane.
However, Alexis was left with many concerns—would Kristina ever forgive her; how would Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) react; would he be furious with Alexis or support her decision? Ultimately, Alexis chickened out, and had the Cassadine estate funds transferred back into a Swiss bank-after all, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) can’t switch them back from Steinmauer.
But Hold On-Ava’s Not The Only One With A Horse In This Race!
The main issue here is that others are tangled up in the situation too; Ric is furious and could attempt to have Kristina sent to Pentonville regardless. Additionally, his disapproval of Ava’s blackmail plot puts their relationship at risk of ending before it even begins, even though he seemed positive when Ava texted those dollar signs.
On top of that, there’s Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos); her conflict with her sister may reignite once she learns the truth, and Ava could still tell her.
This narrative is certainly ongoing, and Kristina might find herself in need of a timely rescue. Diane didn’t throw away that judicial commitment paperwork just because Alexis wouldn’t sign it then-she said she’d do whatever she had to if Kristina was arrested-and she means, ANYTHING!
