Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is determined to protect her family’s final resting place, and this situation is no exception. In a bold move, she and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) chained themselves  to the doors of  the crypt.

When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) arrives, she demands bolt cutters to release them from the mausoleum.

After freeing them, she arrested Emma and took her to the police station. Undeterred, Tracy seized the moment to speak out to the citizens of Port Charles about the shocking proposal to demolish the crypt.

A Cease And Desist Order Was Filed

Tracy addressed the crowd, saying, “Esteemed residents of Port Charles, my father, mother, and brother are all interred here, having devoted their lives to this community. This is their eternal resting place;” naturally, she seized the moment to take a jab at Congressman Cain at the conclusion of her heartfelt address.

Just as it appeared that Boyle would succeed in his plans for demolition, and as Tracy was being taken into custody, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) arrived with a cease and desist order. An infuriated Boyle demanded to know who had issued this new directive.

Diane replied, “Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).” The family had been striving to keep Monica uninformed about the developments concerning the crypt due to her declining health.

Boyle Had News For Drew

In a recent turn of events, Boyle reached out to Drew to deliver the news that the demolition would not proceed.

He stated, “The crypt remains intact, and your time as a Quartermaine has come to an end; from now on, you are legally required to go by the name Drew Cain.” Curious about how Tracy managed to orchestrate this, Drew learned from Boyle, “Actually, it wasn’t Tracy—it was Monica.” The situation for Drew and his family is set to deteriorate further-they are distancing themselves from him as his ongoing schemes continue to disrupt their lives.
