Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Meet Marissa Reyes, The New Face Of Arianna Horton
Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal the teen scene in Salem will be getting a little bigger this summer-Marissa Reyes has been cast in a SORASED role as Arianna Horton. “SORAS”, in other words, Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome often happens to Salemite children, and Arianna is no exception to the rule as Gabi Hernandez’ (Cherie Jimenez) and Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) daughter.
Marissa Is New To The Soap Opera World
SOD has announced that Reyes will make her debut as Arianna in May; from Houston, TX, she began her career on stage, performing in productions like Into The Woods and Matilda.
Reyes honed her craft at the Juilliard Complete Singer/Actor Program and participated in UCLA’s TV/Film Summer Institute. As a fresh face in daytime drama, viewers may recognize her from her portrayal of Cami Rivera in Netflix’s Raven’s Home or from her appearance in Running Point.
She also played Kate in Spirit Halloween, she’s already been getting to know her television relatives. A recent photo was posted on social media where she is with Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon, who plays cousin Javi Hernandez, which gave fans a clue she may be a SORASED Arianna.
Arianna’s History On The Show
Arianna’s journey began with a one-night encounter between her parents in August 2012; when Gabi discovers she is expecting, she initially considers an abortion but ultimately cannot go through with it.
In a show of support, Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) stepped forward to claim the role of Arianna’s legal father, believing it would be in everyone’s best interest.
However, during Nick and Gabi’s first wedding attempt in January 2013, Will revealed that he is actually Arianna’s biological father.
Arianna made her entrance into the world on May 20, 2013 (May 21 on-screen), born in an abandoned shed on Smith Island, with Sonny assisting in the delivery at 8:30 p.m. She weighed 7 pounds and measured 20 inches long, and her name honors her late aunts.
Actress History
The character of Arianna was originally portrayed by twins Harper and Sydnee Udell from her birth in 2013 until 2019, after which Sydney Brower took over the role for a year. Lane Rosa was the last actress to depict Will and Gabi’s daughter. Since 2023, Arianna has been residing in New Zealand with Will and Sonny Kiriakis, played by Zach Tinker.
