Days of Our Lives spoilers note some interesting casting changes during the week of April 28-May 2. Find out more about “who’s coming” to the land of Salem and “who’s going” over the next five days down below.

Welcome To Salem, Dr. Jeffrey Russell!

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of April 28-May 2 reveal a new character is set to hit Salem. Dr. Jeffrey Russell, played by Michael Dietz, will be linked to Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) return-to-Salem story line, and will debut on Wednesday, April 30. From the sounds of it, Bo is dying; however, an experimental medication that Dr. Russell has can save him, but the doctor doesn’t want to pass the treatment on. Is Jeffrey a “good guy” who’s simply following the rules, or is he a villain? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

Rita Lesley Returns!

Across town, EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) amazing assistant, Rita Lesley, will return the week of April 28-May 2. Even though Rita is as loyal as they come, everyone is a suspect when it comes to EJ’s shooting, so will there be hints dropped that she could have been the one who pulled the trigger?

Probably the only person in town who isn’t a suspect in EJ’s shooting at this point is sweet Felicity Greene, played by Kennedy Garcia. Felicity will get some airtime next week, so will fans see her continue to try to ship her sister, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)?

See You Soon, Rex Brady …

Lastly, Kyle Lowder wrapped up his quickie run on the soap as Rex Brady. As quickly as Rex flew into Salem, he left, heading to the airport on the Monday, April 21 episode. While it was great to see him back, it was sad to see him go, so here’s hoping he’ll pop back for a visit very soon.
