Because of the confidentiality between doctors and patients, Finn might need to withhold that information from Steffy until Liam feels prepared to share it. Additionally, Finn could find himself in a critical situation where he needs to rescue Liam.
Given that an experimental treatment has successfully prolonged Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) life, Finn may remain optimistic that a new therapy could also save Liam. In the meantime, there could be further updates regarding Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) romantic endeavors.

In the meantime, Carter will keep fighting for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) but after what happened, will she ever take him back? Lonely Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will keep fighting Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) for Ridge Forrester, (Thorsten Kaye) but she’s on a sinking ship! Brooke’s love boat’s coming, but she’ll have to wait until June for her new romance with her old ex!
