Devoted viewers know that Aristotle was never mentioned in daytime days gone by. So, the creation of this part of Victor’s business backstory is a classic soap technique.

Billy Abbott Was Recruited As Well

It would seem hard to imagine that Aristotle is working for Billy. However, their connection came about; Billy likely learned about Aristotle while co-heading Chancellor with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

However, no mention was made of that person during that period. So, it’s also plausible that Billy recently unearthed this name when checking in on Chancellor after Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) began running it.

Billy has told anyone who has asked that he’s not holding a grudge against Victor for swooping in and stealing the company. Victor made Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) an offer she couldn’t refuse because she had sound business judgment. Yet, viewers know that Billy’s hidden actions prove that he intends to retake Chancellor and bring Victor down.

It’s unclear in the storyline if Victor ever met Aristotle in person. That means this character could be a man or woman. It would be clever to have a woman revealed as the person who sometimes defeated Victor in business.

With whoever Aristotle is, the more pressing question is how this fellow business magnate is woven into GC. Aristotle’s link to Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) is yet another indicator that all of the prominent families, including the Winters, will be affected by the anticipated arrival of Aristotle.
