It has been a while since Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been left all alone, and don’t expect it to last for very long. Earlier this week, she bet everything that if she cornered Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and pushed him to choose between her and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), she would be the one in his bed.

Instead, Ridge decided to honor his commitment to Taylor (for now), leaving Brooke absolutely stunned.

Ever since Ridge looked through a keyhole in Italy and found her a few years ago, Brooke has really leaned into the idea that Ridge was her destiny. She has been convinced that at this age, and stage in the relationship game, they would get through anything, because they’ve already been through just about everything.

She underestimated how he would react if she stole his job, even if in her mind she did it to help him in the long run. She forgot about how big of an ego Ridge has and how impossible it might be for him to recover if she bruised it. He tends to like his women one step below him.

Ridge told Brooke to her face right in front of Taylor that he would always love her, but that they are over, leaving her in shambles. Brooke left Forrester Creations devastated and then had a blowout with her daughter, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), whom she is blaming everything on.

If not for Hope and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) company takeover, Brooke and Ridge’s relationship would still be intact.

She has lost Ridge, is fighting with her daughter, and feels completely alone in this world, so Brooke will turn to someone equally alone, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). After keeping Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) locked in his mansion for weeks on end and then helping to have the double-murder pardoned, Bill isn’t winning any popularity contests with his family and close friends.

He will be thrilled to spend some time with his former flame. Sure, Brooke will go looking for an old friend to talk to, but it won’t take long before the old sparks start to fly again. Do you think that Brooke and Bill should spend some quality time together?
