The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Carter Believes That Hope Has Used Him Just To Keep Her Line Alive

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) recently came to his senses and gave Forrester Creations back to the family that first created it. A few short months ago, he tricked them into signing LLC paperwork that gave him sole control, a move he almost instantly regretted.

In the weeks that he was in control, Forrester successfully launched a jewelry line and a signature fragrance, proving that Carter could lead the company if he really wanted to.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Hope Was At Carter’s Side Cheering Him On During Their Coup

While it was Carter who technically did the stealing, he had Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) in his ear every step of the way to stroke his ego.

Carter brought back her Hope For The Future line and started to give credit to the Logans in a way that the Forresters never did.

Carter championed Hope and she loved him for it, and that’s exactly the problem. Their blossoming romance quickly revolved around work more than anything else.

Along the way, nearly everyone has warned Carter that Hope is using him but he disregarded all of the negative comments because he trusted Hope when she insisted that they were a team. He believed that he knew her better than everyone else and as long as Carter was running Forrester, Hope was rock solid.

Carter was technically in charge but it has become increasingly clear that Hope believed that she was actually in control. She didn’t want to hear about his guilt and maybe more importantly, she didn’t share any of it. That was their breaking point.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Once Carter Did The Right Things Hope Was Finished With Him

After the Forresters fired Hope and suspended her line, she wrongly believed that Carter would leave with her, and instead, he told her that the Forresters were his family.

This felt like a complete betrayal to Hope and she made it clear that whatever they had is over. Carter kept talking about their love and commitment and her every response was connected to business, leaving Carter no choice but to begin questioning her motives.

Granted, Hope is upset, but it sounds like she is only equating Carter with work. Even if she didn’t set out to use him, it is sure looking like it eventually turned into that.
