Maddie Brown Posts Bittersweet Joy & Goodbye Baby Post

Maddie Brown Brush, from Sister Wives, recently shared a touching post about her newborn daughter, Emilia, who arrived on March 14. Alongside a photo of her sleeping baby, the TLC star wrote about the mixed emotions of welcoming her fourth child.

The Fourth & Final Child

“Miss Emilia’s first week earthside has been sweet, tender… and honestly, a little heartrending,” she wrote on Instagram. Maddie’s post on March 21 focused on the finality of her motherhood journey.

“Every first with her… is our last time doing this. I have been soaking it all in,” she said. Then she listed the lasts: “Our last first cry,” “My last birth experience,” and “The final time I’ll carry life inside me.” Despite the joy, she admitted, “This is the end of an era.”

TLC Fans React To The Post

Many people could relate to Maddie who enjoys her last baby. One person wrote, “Perfectly said. My two were ten and half years apart. My baby is 14 now and it was quite surreal knowing he was going to be my last.” 

Meanwhile, another fan said, “I feel this so deep! What a blessing we get to experience this! Being a mother is my greatest adventure!”

Amelia’s Arrival Was A Blessing

Maddie and her husband, Caleb, revealed her pregnancy in October 2024. Fans were surprised as she only welcomed her baby Josephine two years before. Emilia’s arrival was particularly special because Maddie’s second child, Evie-K, has a rare genetic condition. Remember, Evie-K underwent a Boyd Amputation due to FATCO syndrome.

Fortunately, both Josephine and Emilia were healthy. So, Janelle Brown’s daughter said, she was “absolutely perfect” and “worth the wait.”

Maddie, already a mother to Axel, Evie-K, and Josephine, mentioned that her last baby “took her time” arriving. She also noted that she, Caleb, and her mom were “completely smitten” with the baby. However, her strained relationship with her dad, Kody Brown, suggests he wasn’t present.

Maddie’s son, Axel, who initially wanted a brother, is expected to adjust well to another sister. These days, the family lives in North Carolina on a flower farm, a lifestyle many fans find appealing.

Will The Birth Be On The Show?

Apparently, season 20 is filming, and spoilers suggest that Meri Brown might not be in it. However, no official word arrived about that. Season 19 dragged out so much old news for so long, that if Maddie’s baby does feature, it might only be in two years time. 

In the meantime, fans want a spinoff without Kody and Robyn Brown who seem to be universally despised by viewers. It’s also not clear if Maddie Brown Brush wants to film anymore. Recently, she stopped doing The Authentic Society podcast to focus on being a mom and a flower farmer.
