Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Was Tate Being Vindictive Or Truly Looking Out For Holly?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers indicate that Tate Black (Leo Howard) chose call Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and tell her that Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) stole her necklace.
Julie didn’t know what to make of this until Tate revealed that Doug told him that he stole it. Julie could not believe her ears, how could Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) grandson do this to her?
Doug Williams III Has Lied To Julie Williams For Months
Doug came to Salem months ago and stole the necklace the first day he was there. Doug held onto the necklace for a few days until he got rid of it.
He could have replaced that necklace at any time. However, Doug chose to keep the necklace to save himself and even let Julie blame her brother for the theft.
Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) has befriended Doug and found herself pulled into the middle of this. Holly has even borrowed money for Doug to give back to the guys chasing him to pay them off. Originally, Julie had not filed a police report. However, Julie filed one as soon as she saw that necklace on Melinda Trask (Tina Huang).
The Police Are Now Involved
Now that the police have been involved, Tate is afraid that Holly will get in trouble over the necklace. After all, Holly has tried to get the necklace back away from Melinda.
This could make Holly an accessory after the fact if the cops figure out that she has been helping Doug all of this time. Tate was hoping to protect her.
However, Tate was also a bit upset because Holly left him to go to Doug the moment he called. Tate, like any other man would be jealous when he girlfriend runs off to another man’s aid instead of spending time with him.
Tate felt bad after Holly retuned to his house. However, he didn’t feel bad enough to tell her what he has done.
Perhaps Tate Black’s Excuse Was A Bit Of Both
Tate knows that Holly is going to be furious with him when the truth comes out. Tate even feels guilty for calling Julie.
Tate didn’t mean to actually reveal that Doug was guilty, he meant to give her a couple of clues and let her figure this out himself. Unfortunately, when Tate called, he blurted out the mere facts and nothing more.
Tate wasn’t thinking of the consequences when he called Julie. Once he took a minute to think he realized that he had made a mistake. Now Tate has to wonder if Holly will forgive him for what he has done.
Tate has no idea that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) is in on this now. Will Holly ever forgive Tate? Has Tate actually made things worse now that Holly has been pulled further into the case?
