The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Rages at Deke For Stealing Eric’s Designs & Makes a Fool of Herself?

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) may find himself accused of stealing FC designs by Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

If so, Steffy would be wrong and not get that Eric Forrester (John McCook) has defected to Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) competing fashion house.

Will Steffy Accuse Deke of Being a Thief?

Eric designed a line for Forrester Creations but his smarmy son Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wasn’t exactly appreciative. Ridge threw a surprise retirement party for Eric and these two butted heads.

Ridge didn’t lay his eyes on see those designs, but Steffy did. Nonetheless, she thinks that Eric should retire and leave the everyday details of running FC to her and Ridge. Even her husband John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) thinks Eric should retire.

Eric doesn’t know that Steffy saw his fabulous designs so is the show going somewhere with this plot twist? Definitely maybe!

Eric is Not Appreciated at FC

Clearly Eric’s work will not be executed at FC. It makes sense that he go where he’s appreciated, and that’s to Katie’s new fashion house.

But that would bring complications seeing as how Eric founded FC and his family is running his legacy. But if he worked anonymously for Katie, he would see his designs respected and continue to do what he loves.

Fans know that Eric and Deke appeared ready to collaborate but this could come with a hitch.

Steffy Misunderstands Everything?

If Steffy sees Eric’s work on the runway and it’s credited to Deke we can see her jumping to the assumption that the younger man stole the older man’s ideas.

Of course Steffy has every right to cry foul if she thinks there is corporate espionage going on. And we all know how loud Steffy can get when she’s in her self-righteous mode. But in this potential case, she would be entirely wrong.

What Happens Next on the CBS Soap?

This is just speculation at this point, but how far would Steffy go to defend Eric if she thinks he’s been robbed?

She could threaten to sue Deke which would force Eric to admit that the designs are his and not purloined.
