The Young And The Restless Spoilers: New Business Rival Arrives, Damian’s Reaction to Lily Shows Weakness

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) responded to the first actual demand Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) made of him.

He darted to the penthouse to see his mother after Lily said he could ask her for dinner again after making some progress with Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford).

Damian’s romantic interest in Lily outweighed his mother’s terminal illness or his newfound brother. But Damian doesn’t appear to suspect that Lily is playing him.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) agreed to Lily’s request for intel. No one has as many tentacles in the world, at least in this soapy version of the earth. So, he’s bound to provide Lily with information she can use.

Damian Kane Doesn’t Know What He’s Up Against

Damian believes he’s about these Midwestern rubes. But Lily, Nate, and the other people in Genoa City, Wisconsin, are more intelligent than him. They’re also wise.

There might be a tie-in to the new soap, Beyond the Gates. Victor’s mention of a real estate investor to whom Damian is connected or works implies a link to a character on that soap.

Whether Y&R is tied to BTG, as it is to B&B, will soon be known. But what Damian doesn’t know is that Lily knows more about him than he realizes.

Just as he didn’t consider what his mother was doing while his father was dying, Damian isn’t aware that Victor dug into his background and provided intel to Lily.

Nate Hastings Unaware Of Betrayal

Amy referenced Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) name, and Damian seemed to recognize it. That would fit because his best and only friend, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), had a romantic relationship with her.

Viewers assume Damian was aware of Audra. Why else would he look surprised when Amy mentioned her?

However, Nate doesn’t know anything about Holden. Audra had opportunities to tell him but didn’t. Instead, she withheld the truth when they ran into each other at Crimson Lights and when Holden texted her about having dinner.

A triangle between Nate, Audra, and Holden might be in the daytime cards. But that would come with or after Damian fully reconciles with his mother and begins to build a relationship with Nate.

Real Estate Is Part Of Newman’s Business

Damian’s rise to power, as Victor put it, was meteoric. He had no money to his name and seemed to have no means of obtaining massive financial backing. Yet, Damian became the manager of two global real estate corporations.

As the mystery of Damian’s business acumen slowly unfolds, it’s also fair to wonder if Victor, Lily, or both will become rivals to the companies he’s connected to.

The introduction of Amy, Damian, and Holden offers fresh soap for fans to enjoy. The potential for multiple dramatic conflicts is ahead, being both business-related and personal for the Winters, Hastings, and possibly Newman families.
