General Hospital’s Chris McKenna Shares Blast From The Past

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jack Brennan are getting hot and heavy. While some viewers might still be on the fence about the chemistry between the Brennan recast, actor Chris McKenna, and Carly, as he continues, audiences are warming up to the idea of this new version of ‘CarJack’.

In fact, some fans may wonder how Port Charles’ newest super couple would’ve faired in their younger years if they had met sooner in life.

Interestingly enough, McKenna recently got nostalgic by sharing a ‘blast from the past’ photo of a young Carly and Brennan (sort of) on social media.

CarJack Throwback?

McKenna hopped on Instagram recently and dropped a massive photo for “Throwback Tuesday” by uploading a picture of two fresh-faced newcomers to the land of daytime drama; that is, McKenna himself and Laura Wright, circa 1993!

The vintage pic showed a young Laura, who was playing Ally Rescott on the since cancelled, ‘Loving’ soap, while McKenna was over at One Life to Life, as Joey Buchanan, making massive waves.

Of course, GH fans flooded the comment section and shared their love for the post, McKenna, and Wright. GH co-star, Eden McCoy, who plays Carly’s daughter, Josslyn Jacks, was quick to comment, stating “Ohhhhh my god,” to which McKenna replied, “@edenmccoy forgot to show you the other day. Thought you’d get a kick outta that,” and Wright stated, “@edenmccoy haaaa. Eden”.

Sounds like McKenna is having a ton of fun behind the scenes with his new co-stars! It’ll be interesting to see where the relationship between the WSB agent and the former mob boss wife heads once she finds out he placed her daughter in the path of danger, recently.

Brennan may believe Josslyn would make a great WSB recruit, but Carly will be PO’d when this all surfaces. Especially if she’s in the line of fire where Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is concerned.
