General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Reaches His Limit – More Heartache to Come?
General Hospital Spoilers claim Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has no idea that he has another child he’s never known.
Choosing to keep his past secrets between them, he and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) agreed long ago that they shouldn’t tell anyone about their summertime love as teenagers.
When Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) took issue with Brook Lynn years back, it sort of sealed the deal for Dante that he never wanted anyone to know.
When Brook Lynn linked arms with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), it made it even more important that he never knew she once slept with his partner.
Nevermind that they had a child, but Dante is as in the dark as Chase on that front. Soon, he’ll find out the truth, and it just might crush him.
Brook Lynn Kept Quiet
Brook Lynn made a command decision on Dante’s behalf when she was just a kid herself — to give up their child and never tell her former paramore that such a child existed.
It was the least complicated way to get herself out of a messy situation and move on with her life as best she could knowing that her child was out there somewhere and she would likely never know them. She also knew they would never know her or their father, who had know idea they were ever born.
Leak Lois Lied
To add insult to injury, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) also lied about the child. She has withheld the truth — that Brook Lynn had a child — from everyone, even Brook Lynn’s dad, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and the baby’s dad, Dante.
We aren’t counting on Dante to feel any compassion for Brook Lynn that Lois lied to her. It would seem that this apple didn’t fall too far from the tree, and that’s likely the way Dante is going to see things.
After struggling with Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) murder, dealing with Lulu’s return to his life, and now learning Brook Lynn kept his child from him and never even gave him a say in the decision, learning that Lois lied too will add another layer of betrayal.
Sonny Spied — on His Grandson
Dante may never overcome this once he realizes his own father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), played a role in the devastating lie that will shape his future.
Lois has dropped enough hints that tell us Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is her grandchild, which means Sonny is grandpa.
Given that he has funded Gio’s musical talents and ensured he received a top-tier education to make him the best of the best on the violin, it’s pretty transparent that Sonny knows of his relation to Gio — but Dante doesn’t.
Will Dante ever forgive his dad when he learns of this landmark deception? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
