General Hospital’s Amanda Setton Hints at Brook Lynn’s Bonding With Dante With These 5 Words!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate the show recently confirmed what fans have been speculating for a long while now!

GH viewers know now that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is the offspring of Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) from a pregnancy that occurred when the two had a teen fling at camp.

As the secret is out to fans, it’s only a matter of time for it to be revealed to the rest of Port Charles, and Amanda Setton recently caught up with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to talk about her baby bombshell storyline.

Amanda Setton Is Loving the Drama

Setton tells SOD that she’s, “… I’m really into this storyline. I think it has the makings of an incredible web. It touches so many people, so many characters on the canvas.”

She’s not wrong. There’s so many pieces of this storyline puzzle: from Dante learning the truth to Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) telling BLQ that Gio is her son, as well as the extended family’s reaction and how Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will take the baby news.

Gio will go from being an only child to a small Bensonhurts family to becoming a Quartermaine and Corinthos all in one fell swoop!

Not to mention all the half-siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and having Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) as a great-grandmother.

Still probably one of the more interesting parts to this equation is how Brook Lynn and Dante will bond in the aftermath of the reveal. How awkward will this all be? Especially since Dante is so close with BLQ’s hubby, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)!

Setton Hints A Bond Getting Deeper

One of the more interesting aspects of Setton’s SOD interview is how she teases there is “This Is Just The Beginning” where Dante and BLQ are concerned.

SOD acknowledges that Brook Lynn and Dante’s relationship will take a different turn, which sets the stage for more scenes together.

The online mag asked Setton if she was looking forward to that, and the actress goes on to note that she respects Dominic as an actor and adores him.

Setton adds the two are enjoying more scenes together, and believes, “… Dante and Brook Lynn stuff is just beginning. I can feel it, you know?” She closes the interview by saying it’ll be, “… interesting to see how they choose to play this out.”
