General Hospital Spoilers: Who Stands to Lose the Most When the Truth About Gio Comes Out?

General Hospital: Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza)

General Hospital Spoilers report the truth about Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) parentage is slowly seeping out into Port Charles society.

While Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) isn’t likely to breach the oath he made to the New York State Bar Association; attorney-client privilege means something to this guy.

Still, now that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) has broken the seal on her silence, she just might feel inclined to keep unburdening herself, requiring her to open up to someone else.

Conversely, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may decide she wants to tell the truth and find the baby she gave up for adoption 21 years ago.

When it leads her to her own front door — and to Gio — this family will never be the same. But who stands to lose the most?

Brook Lynn and Chase Could Lose Everything

Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) aren’t doing so well since the news came that Chase cannot have biological children of his own.

The results of his fertility work-up cut through him like a knife, and he feels responsible for robbing Brook Lynn of the experience of carrying her child in her belly.

She wants to tell him the truth in hopes that it will ease his guilty conscience, but is it also in part to alleviate her own? Will Chase resent her for not having told him the truth about her past much sooner?

They could lose their happily ever after if she tells him the truth and he realizes his partner is forever bonded to his wife in a way he will never be with her.

General Hospital: Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer)

Lois Really Took a Gamble

Lois couldn’t hold back the tears when she started telling Marty the truth about what she had done. Back then, when Brook Lynn was just a kid herself, it seemed like the right decision.

Even all these years later, Lois must not have questioned it much, given that she only seems to be stressed over it now that Brook Lynn may find out.

Chase is likely to be just as angry with Lois even though he’ll be furious with his wife. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could find himself sharing Chase’s feelings, but that doesn’t mean his brother in arms will be commiserating with him at a time like this.

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be none too happy with the broad from Bensonhurst either.

Sonny Comes in Second

Of course, Sonny is only destined to be angry with Lois if he was truly kept in the dark about who Gio is. The fans are still divided on whether they believe the entirety of the story that Lois dished out to Marty.

After all, she was seeking legal advice for herself and confirmation of whether it would be possible for Brook Lynn to track her child down at this point.

There was no need for Marty to know that Sonny was in on it with her, if in fact he was. So, was he? If so, he’ll stand to sever ties with all of the same people, and possibly others like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), too.

Carly knows a thing or two about being adopted and having your parents lie to you. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers as the truth continues to worm its way into the light.
