General Hospital Spoilers: Are Willow And Michael Really Over?

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) sure has made a disaster out of her life, hasn’t she? Six months ago, she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) were happily living on the Quartermaine estate in the gatehouse with their two kids, and now he is in a burn unit in Germany, while she is staying with her mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Willow Lost Her Marbles And Fell For The Congressman

Hero worship is living rent-free in Willow’s mind these days. At one point, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), masquerading as a good guy, saved her life and now she has blindly fallen for a much lesser version of him.

These days, Drew is spending most of his time trying to manipulate anyone in his path, burning every bridge as he goes.

Willow has been the new Congressman’s biggest cheerleader, somehow overlooking how it has cost her literally everything. Her marriage, her home, and her friendships, plus it has brought her one hell of a custody battle, and yet Willow still is under Drew’s spell.

Willow Admits That She Still Loves Michael

Willow couldn’t keep her hands off Drew, and it caused Michael to file for custody. Before that could even be sorted out Michael was burned in an explosion at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) penthouse.

He was relocated to a burn unit at a German clinic for experimental treatment and Willow is back in Port Charles dealing with the fallout of her choices.

After a recent dalliance with Drew, Willow admitted to her mother that she still loves Michael, as she should. There was no real conversation about anything before Michael was injured.

The demise of their marriage isn’t exactly making sense yet for viewers or Willow. If she isn’t even sure how she got to this point then why is she at it?

If Willow and Michael’s marriage really is over, then there still isn’t even a hint of closure. Based on what we have seen, Willow should be confused, and there is no reason for her not to love Michael.

Could Michael And Willow Reconcile?

Eventually, Michael is going to return to Port Charles and when he does, a lot can happen. There is always the chance that his absence will bring Willow to her senses and make her realize that she has made a huge mistake.

Before the accident, Michael wanted his wife back, will he return in the same headspace? What do you think will happen when these two are face to face again?
