Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex’s Wrong Choice, Why Rekindle Stephanie’s Fizzled Romance?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) are being reunited. However, fans are confused as Alex and Stephanie weren’t exactly a fan-favorite couple.

Alex Kiriakis’ Playboy Beginnings

When Robert Scott Wilson started playing the role of Alex on DOOL, the Salem newcomer was a playboy. Alex even had a threesome with Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

However, the minute that Alex laid eyes on Stephanie, he was completely smitten. In fact, it was Stephanie who encouraged Alex to stop his wild ways and even sought therapy from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

From Sizzle to Fizzle

Even though Alex and Stephanie gave romance a chance, it didn’t work out for them. Some fans wondered if the failed romance would have Alex going back to his old womanizing ways. However, Alex has stayed a decent guy since. Even so, it’s bizarre how Stephanie keeps throwing herself at Alex. 

Stephanie Johnson’s Reunion

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Alex and Stephanie were so-so together. When soaps decide to reunite a couple, one can take a cue from forums and social media to see how fans feel. Barely anyone is rooting for this couple or excited about the reunion. 

Not to mention that Stephanie just seems to bounce from bed to bed. Stephanie only wanted the Body & Soul actor when he started officially seeing Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins).

The PR lady’s interest in Alex also only restarted after she dumped Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). Stephanie appears to be a self-respecting career woman with a kind heart. However, her behavior suggests something else!

Joy Wesley’s Heartbreak

The way that Stephanie and Alex’s reunion happened didn’t seem to make fans happy either. Joy was poisoned and nearly died because Alex and Stephanie were too busy making out.

Then, Joy comes out of her hospital room to find her boyfriend kissing Stephanie. Joy is definitely angry and the fact that Alex sat on this for two weeks before saying anything, well, that makes the hurt that much worse.

One possible angle that the soap could be doing is having Alex and Stephanie reunite only for Joy to learn she’s pregnant. Remember, Joy kicked Alex out of her hospital room and said she never wanted to see him again.

While Joy could move to L.A., it seems she will stick around in Salem. Could an unplanned pregnancy throw a wrench into Joy’s Hollywood plans? Could it also bring Alex back together with Joy?
