Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Holly & Tate’s Romantic Valentine’s Ruined Thanks To Sophia’s Baby Crisis – Doug Picks Up The Pieces

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) are gearing up for a romantic Valentine’s Day, and it looks like both are ready to take the next step in their romance.

The Days preview for the week of February 10-14 seems to imply that the two are gearing up to hit the sheets; however, with all the baby drama that Sophia Choi (last played by Madelyn Kientz) has brought to their romance, it’s hard to believe if the two will end up doing the deed or if a “crisis” may not arise that stops them.

Actress Rachel Boyd is on the cusp of stepping in as the Sophia Choi recast, and her first appearance is set for February 12. Could the DOOL writing team craft an interesting arc to usher in the start of Boyd’s “days” in Salem?

As Holly and Tate are busy preparing for their romantic Valentine’s night, could something happen with the baby that stops them? Then again, knowing what a schemer Sophia is, could she fake a medical emergency to take Tate away from Holly that night?

Doug Williams III Steps Up

Another reason why it’s hard to believe that Holly and Tate will hit the sheets is Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer). While Holly is still with Tate, she and Doug have become close friends, fast.

Fans can tell that there’s some chemistry between them. In fact, since Doug’s arrival in Salem, every time Tate has disappointed Holly, he’s been there to pick up the pieces.

This will likely happen this week, too. In the DOOL preview, Holly seems to have bought some lingerie for the big date with Tate, so how silly will she feel if he cancels?

She may be all dressed up and ready to seduce him before he pulls the plug on the night. Still, what if he stands her up completely?

This could definitely happen if Sophia’s frantic enough about losing the baby. Tate may get so caught up in Sophia’s medical emergency that he forgets to call Holly.

If Holly calls Doug, or if Doug finds Holly heartbroken, could the two end up getting caught up in emotion? They may end up jumping into bed together, or at the very least, sharing a kiss!

Either way, Doug and Holly could go from the friends’ zone to romance, after Tate screws things up, yet again.
