Akinyi Obala & Benjamin Taylor Post First Baby Pic

Akinyi Obala and Benjamin Taylor from 90 Day Fiance told their TLC fans that they were expecting a baby. That came in September last year and this week, the reality TV stars dropped the first photos of their child and a birth vlog. 2024 was a very productive year for pregnancies in the franchise. 

The Long Wait For A Baby

Like her friend, Annie Suwan, Obala didn’t fall pregnant straight after the wedding with Ben. The couple from Before The 90 Days, Season 3 married in 2021, but she didn’t fall pregnant until after their third anniversary. 

The exact date that the baby arrived isn’t known. However, the photos of Benjamin Taylor’s little girl came on social media on Friday, and the caption revealed the joy that greeted the safe arrival.  Other TLC cast members were thrilled for them, and Anny Francisco, who recently welcomed her own child, told Obala, “Congratulations this [is]amazing news. ❤️ so happy for you guys .”

The First Photo Of Rue

The pictures on Instagram showed that the baby was wearing bright red, just like her mom. Taylor stood next to his wife with his arm around her shoulder as he gazed at his baby girl. He has a son from a previous marriage but little Rue is their first infant together. 

Akinyi Obala has a stable and loving husband by her side to help her raise their daughter. Often, she shouted him out during her pregnancy. But, in the caption, the TLC star gave all the glory to God, quoting from the Bible, “…this land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. Ezekiel 36:35.”

The very long caption was full of praise about the emotions of being a brand-new mom. Obala added:

…Our sweet baby came to this world and has filled me with such profound love that I have never felt before. There is nothing like it. Nothing like hearing her first cry, nothing like holding her for the first time, nothing like having her latch on to feed, nothing like realizing that I am her mom and she is my whole world now…

Next, the 90 Day Fiance star said, “I can say is that I love you my sweet Rue, Of all the things my hands have ever held, the best by far is you.”
