The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jordan Howard (Coleen Zenk) isn’t going to follow Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) orders. She wants her part of their deal enforced now.
Ian told Jordan to take Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and dump her in the river at the exact spot where Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) body landed.
Ian believes he convinced Jordan that it would be poetic justice because they would establish a frame for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
However, Jordan is wise to Ian’s manipulations. Both actors’ performances in this particular storyline are insurmountably great. They will forever be rightly cited as two of Y&R’s all-time legendary villains.
Of course, Eric Braeden’s (Victor Newman) famous alter ego stands as the Darth Vader of Genoa City, Wisconsin, now and forever.

Ian described his forced visit to the new Ranch House as one he anticipated. He also told Jordan that the exchange with Victor went as he expected.
However, viewers and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) witnessed Ian flinch when Victor aggressively approached his seated subject in the living room. Wise’s character was frightened in that moment.
Ian’s tough guy act and belief that he can outwit Victor and the entire Newman clan on their home turf is a foreshadowing. Ian is reckless and may be withholding something from Jordan.

Ian is at an advanced age. Although he and Jordan are of the same generation, she seems physically healthier than him.
Both people are, without any rational question, deranged. They genuinely believe that the Newmans and others have wronged them.
Ian sees Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) as someone who will be open to his efforts. He thinks she will think he’s turned a corner and is reformed, believing that the time in his cult was meaningful to her.
But is Ian also hiding a physical illness or one that is terminal?
If so, that would explain his brazen behavior and apparent desire to tempt fate through to his death. Someone who felt he had nothing to lose might behave like that.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Storing Sharon Newman Away
Ian anticipates hearing that Sharon’s body was found. That’s why he wants the other part of his plan to proceed quickly.
Framing Phyllis for Sharon’s murder would fit Ian’s plans. It might also shift or potentially eliminate Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) ability to prove Sharon was innocent of killing Heather. That would allow Jordan to skate presumably.
But Jordan recognizes that Ian led with his agenda and hasn’t given enough effort to help her address the Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) issue. So, Zenk’s clever persona didn’t dump Sharon’s body.
Jordan stashed Sharon at a location Ian isn’t aware of. She’ll use that leverage to attempt to force Ian’s hand; peril is building for all involved.
