The Young and the Restless Christian LeBlanc Shares Post-Holiday Message About Cruelty

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that it’s natural for everyone to put on a few pounds during the holidays, which can easily be shed once things go back to routine.

Still, the schedule of a soap star is hectic, as Christian LeBlanc, who plays Michael Baldwin on the Y&R knows all too well. One minute you are enjoying sugar cookies with hot cocoa, and the next, you are scheduled to do a love scene on set! What’s an actor to do?

LeBlanc posted an interesting New Year’s message on social media, outlining this plight, and some “cruel” remarks he recently received.

LeBlanc hopped on Instagram to record a video New Year’s message. Now that he’s back to the grind on the show after the holidays, he knows the importance of getting on track.

In his hilarious IG video, he starts by saying, “Happy New Year’s, everybody. But there’s still a bed scene to be done. So, I’m walking. I’m walking in the middle of the apocalypse.”

He goes on to say, “It’s very foggy. But I look slimmer in the fog, I think.”

LeBlanc continued with, “The trainer said I should walk, and I said, ‘How far do you think I should walk to get rid of what I put on during the vacation?’ And he said, ‘Nebraska.’ It’s so cruel, so very cruel.”

Y&R Co-Stars Chime In

Fellow Y&R co-star J. Eddie Peck (Cole Howard) commented on the video stating, “Oh my gosh, your humor is the best, my dear friend. Hey, you always look great, but we’ll be tuning in to see that shirt come off. Thanks for keeping the bar raised.”

Meanwhile, Tracey E Bregman, who plays opposite of LeBlanc in those steamy love scenes on the Y&R as Michael’s wife, Lauren Fenmore, simply placed three laughy emojis in the comments.
