‘Teen Mom’ Maryssa Eason Gets Nursing Qualification

Maryssa Eason, 18, was seen on Teen Mom as a kid, but not as much as David Eason’s other child with Jenelle Evans, Ensley Eason. Maryssa’s mom is Whitney Rich and she and David must be proud of their daughter who just got a nursing qualification. 

Maryssa Eason Is All Grown Up & Clever

In September 2023, David Eason’s daughter obtained her driver’s license. The news was shared by David’s ex, Jenelle Evans. At the time, Maryssa was 16 years old and still stayed with her dad and MTV alum Jenelle on “The Land.” 

A year later, when she was 17, David Eason shared a post about Maryssa Eason and said that she not only graduated high school early, but had already started college. Certainly, she seemed likely to make a better life for herself than Jenelle who who gave birth to her first child, Jace Evans at the age of 18. 

Maryssa Eason Graduates Early With Nursing Qualification

When the Teen Mom dad posted this week, he said that his oldest daughter had qualified and graduated with a nursing qualification. Maryssa also shared the news on her Instagram, and in one of her posts, she said that her qualification is “just the beginning” and she is moving “on to bigger things.” 

David Eason told his Teen Mom followers that Maryssa Eason graduated early again. In his caption, the MTV alum wrote:

Maryssa is such a beautiful, strong minded person! She has overcome all obstacles in her way, she lives above the influence and lets nothing hold her back! I believe she can do absolutely anything she puts her mind to! I’m so proud of my Sweetpea! Congratulations to her for graduating early with a CNA certification!

All Nursing Schools.com advises that “unlike most other nursing jobs, a certified nursing assistant (CNA) doesn’t require a college degree. However, you’ll need to earn a certificate or diploma in a CNA program with training in patient personal care, infection prevention, vital signs, communication, mental health, and other basic care.”
