Kody Brown Gives ‘Sister Wives’ Fan Parenting Advice

Sister Wives star Kody Brown gave some parenting advice. No, that’s not a joke. Someone who is obviously a fan of the TLC show also paid for it. Naturally, the dreadful relationships he has with many of his kids, made people roll their eyes. After all, this was a man estranged from his son, Garrison when he took his own life at just 25.  

Kody Brown Failed As A Dad?

Gabe Brown cried because his father had forgotten his birthday. And, it broke the hearts of TLC fans who watched that play out on Sister Wives. At the time, Kody had been estranged for some time following his demands that Janelle Brown throw her boys out of the house during the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, Paedon Brown can only mock his father. 

Kody Brown and his daughter, Maddie Brown Brush clashed to the point where she won’t have anything to do with him. And, TLC fans will never forget his lack of interest in Ysabel Brown’s serious back surgery to correct her scoliosis.

Wasn’t it Kody who was looking after Truely when she nearly died from kidney failure at the age of three? 

Kody Brown Gives Parenting Advice

Cameo, a site where plenty of TV stars sell videos and messages also has an account for the dad of 15 biological kids, and three adopted children. One of those cameos by the Sister Wives star is doing the rounds on social media, and it ended up on Reddit this week. 

In the cameo, Kody Brown told someone who had a baby how “sweet” they are. He also talked about “loving” a child. He added, “Love your children, [but] when they get older, they get mouthy. But in order to love them, you must never allow them to do anything to you that would make you resent them…”

TLC Fans Had A Lot To Say

In the discussion area of the post where the cameo was shared, Sister Wives fans expressed their shock and outrage. Here are a few reactions:

• Love them unless it’s inconvenient. Gotcha. 
• He really needs to stop talking altogether! He just gets worse and worse! He just has no clue at all what an a*s he is or does he and he just doesn’t care?
• This is an outrageous comment, I’m so sad for his kids, it’s heartbreaking.
• Don’t allow your children to do anything that makes you resent them is the most hilariously narcissistic statement I’ve ever heard.
