Amber Johnston Is Not Suited To Family Social Work?

7 Little Johnstons star Amber Johnston went back to school for a degree in social work. So, she and some of her kids graduated around about the same time. Actually, in the current season, that’s where TLC fans saw that Anna Johnston had major issues with her family. So, people wonder if Amber is cut out for dealing with other families.   

Amber Johnston Gets Criticized As A Parent

7 Little Johnstons fans don’t agree that Trent and Amber are the best parents in the world. They didn’t like how they threw Jonah out of the house. Then, they didn’t like how they interrogated him about his texts when he came back. 

TLC fans believe that Amber Johnston treated Liz Johstton and Jonah differently to her adopted kids and that she had favorites. In the current season, some fans feel that she belittles Brice Bolden, and acts as if she is the best person to parent his daughter. 

Amber Johnston Should Not Do Social Work?

On Reddit this week, 7 Little Johnstons fan u/Classic-Ability-7933 felt that the TLC star is not ready to take up work with other families. Notably, the OP has a “master’s degree in social work.” So, they seem qualified to give an opinion. 

The TLC fan said about Amber Johnston:

Ambers social work degree…. As a person with a masters degree in social work currently working towards a clinical license I really hope that Amber does a lot of self reflection before she starts working with her degree. I honestly can’t imagine her giving anyone parenting advice and I really hope she does not go the clinical route and start giving people therapy. I know that people can grow and change, but everything that Amber has shows us about herself is proof enough that she does not need to be teaching others about parenting or working to mending families until she can improve herself.

TLC Fans Discuss The Social Work

Amber Johnston hasn’t got a ton of supporters on the social media site. Here are some of their reactions:

• I doubt she will self-reflect!! she doesn’t have empathy.
• I wouldn’t be so concerned, i think she’ll get the degree & never work a job. She really can’t seem to hold one anyways… realtor, teacher, and now social work… yeah, not happening.
• I think she realized the day may come when there’s no one at home to micromanage and panicked, so she decided to become a professional buttinsky and know-it-all.
• Seeing how she interacts with her kids…..yeah……I feel bad for anyone that has her as their social worker.
