The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has made his stance clear regarding Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) romantic future.

He firmly believes that Adam is meant to be with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and both Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who seem to agree.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam And Chelsea Do Have A Tumultuous Past

Adam and Chelsea do have a tumultuous past with each other, they’ve broken up and reconciled several times-as far as whose fault, it’s about even.

Back in the farmhouse in Kansas, when Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) was little, they did all seem to be happy, but even then there’d been troubles before Connor came along. Adam has a history of waffling between Chelsea and his exes, mostly Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) who he’d been fixated on for years.

Chelsea’s had her cheating moments as well in the past, but when they first got together she was pregnant with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).

Later, she became pregnant with Adam’s child Riley Abbott (uncast) and miscarried, they separated when Adam was helping Sharon-later, they reconciled and Connor was born.

Y & R Spoilers: Chelsea Did Attend The Newman Ranch Thanksgiving

Chelsea recently attended the Thanksgiving celebration at the Newman ranch, but this hardly signifies any significant progress in the storyline. If “Y&R” intends to reunite Adam and Chelsea, they seem to be taking their time; is their reunion truly off the table, or merely postponed? Fans of “Chadam” are still holding onto hope that the show will eventually deliver, but Adam’s current actions are not helping his chances with Chelsea.

Rather than focusing on rekindling their past relationship, Adam appears preoccupied with jealousy over Sally’s involvement with Billy and is also bothering Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) by trying to console Sharon.

Adam, according to pattern, again is fixated on not just one, but two of his exes-or he wouldn’t be jealous over Billy and Sally!

It’s disappointing for fans of Chelsea and Adam who wish he would focus more on her; Chelsea has built barriers and made Adam feel there’s no chance for them as a couple.

However, Adam is typically persistent about what he wants, so he might need to rethink his approach. Instead of fixating on Sharon’s situation and confronting Sally about her new relationship, should Adam be spending time with Chelsea?

This is the best way for the show to create a proper buildup for their reunion. Now, it’s up to the show to decide if they will pursue a new beginning for Chelsea and Adam or explore other romantic storylines in the coming year.
