The Young And The Restless spoilers indicate that Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) has just gotten a great update on his cancer diagnosis and is celebrating by doing what he loves. Fans were worried that Braeden might be retiring, however, he assures them that he isn’t planning on going anywhere.

Eric Braeden Has Beat Cancer

The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that Eric has been working while treating his cancer. However, he recently had a new cystoscopy, which is a test where the bladder is checked for signs of cancer. Eric revealed that there was no signs of cancer this time. This is very reassuring news.

Braeden posted a new video on TikTok where he picked up a heavy punching bag. Someone off camera yells “Yes!” Braeden also revealed with a caption that he was cancer free. Eric is now back to boxing and back to work on the show, two of his biggest loves. Eric is ready and willing to get back to those things.

Eric has shared his cancer journey with fans over the years. Eric interviewed with KCAL-TV that Victor is “ruthless” and this battle had him feeling the same. Eric took a somewhat controversial treatment called BCG to help fight his cancer. Bacillus Calmette-Guerin

Eric also credits early detection to his survival as well as knowing his body. He noticed problems that could have been cancerous and alerted his health care provider and got treatment as soon as possible. Now Eric says treatments have paid off and he has gotten a clean bill of health.

Braeden had knee surgery too and it was a grueling ordeal. However, Eric promised fans that the was going to deal with that. Eric said he made the mistake of doing squats but he was smart enough not to use weights. Eric swore that he would not be stupid enough to do anything like this again.

However, this led Eric to realize that he was having problems which turned out to be bladder cancer. Braeden’s caner story taught him just how important it is to listen to your body and take it easy when it tells you to do so.

Had Eric have not listened, his story could have been very different. Eric is very grateful that things were caught in time.
