Days of our Lives spoilers for December 23-27, 2024, reveal an eventful week in Salem filled with Christmas cheer — and loads of soapy angst.
It’s a bittersweet time at the Horton House as Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) endures her first Christmas without her beloved husband, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), by her side.
She has Doug’s grandson, Doug III, with her, but she still has no idea he stole Alice Horton’s (Frances Reid) diamond necklace. Instead, she wants to introduce him to the holiday ornament tradition.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) are still in town, as are Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). Lani and Eli spend time with the Carvers and at the hospital with Santa Abe (James Reynolds)
As for Jack, he gets into the Christmas spirit and makes amends with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Jack and Xander were once the best of friends until Xander and Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) stole The Spectator out from under him.
When Tate Black (Leo Howard) sets up some alone time for him and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) at The Brady Pub, Holly is thrilled. She and Tate had a rough year that started with her overdose, but now they are together again and she thinks nothing can get in their way.
Tate tells Holly that he loves her for the first time, but does he leave out the fact that Sophia Chen (Madelyn Kientz) is now pregnant with his child?
In other Salem news, EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) is surprised when he has an uninvited house guest. Who will show up in Salem to make EJ’s Christmas miserable?
EJ has also been spending more time with Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison), but someone could get in the way of that very soon. Could it be Belle’s big sister? Belle is also ready to accept a big job offer.
Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) are ready to surprise their loved ones with good news this week when they set a wedding date. Is Rafe finally going to be lucky in love?
