‘Sweet Home Sextuplets’ Courtney Waldrop Asks For Prayers For Her Dad

Sweet Home Sextuplets mom, Courtney Waldrop has been unusually quiet on social media in recent weeks. But, she broke her silence to ask TLC fans to pray for her dad, “Popsie.”  Fans remember him from the show, and there was no shortage of people who responded to the post.

Courtney Waldrop Is Worried About Her Dad

Popsie was a fan favorite because of his never-ending patience with the six little kids. Little Blu gave him a few anxious moments when the toddler was into climbing on counters and tables. Over the years, TLC fans saw him eagerly watching the older boys play baseball. But now, the grandfather of nine children is very unwell. 

Courtney Waldrop and her family are well-loved by Sweet Home Sextuplets fans. After the TLC show was canceled, she carried on sharing a lot about her family. So, it seems as if nobody really missed any important announcements. But you might have missed the news that her dad, Gerru AKA Popsie ended up in a hospital this month. 

Courtney Waldrop Shares Worrying News About Her Dad

The Sweet Home Sextuplets star took to her Instagram on Sunday and reminded her followers that her dad was admitted to a hospital after being diagnosed with “cystic fibrosis.” That happened about two weeks ago. But now, he needs to be moved to another hospital. In her text overlay, she wrote, “Please pray for my daddy. Praying for a double lung transplant in his future soon.”

In her post, Courtney Waldrop shared a reel that showed all nine kids visiting their grandfather in the hospital. In her main caption, she explained much more. The TLC star said in part:

He is being transferred to another hospital!! He will be in ICU for a time. We are so very thankful for all the prayers and the guidance we’ve had in this process. I want to say thank you to the Doctor at the hospital my dad has been at who listened to me and understood our desperate plea to get my Daddy transferred somewhere where he could get the specific care he needs.

Courtney Waldrop wants special and specific prayers for her dad “to regain the strength he has lost and for a lung transplant to be a consideration again.”
