These days, the Little People, Big World alum gets mocked for trying to act superior. Meanwhile, as far as TLC fans can see, all he does is muck about with projects in his house instead of working at a real job. Oh, and he’s used by his wife to promote her perfect marriage business.

Jeremy Roloff often joins Audrey Roloff on her podcast and he quite often talks about alternative medical theories and other conspiracy theories. Often, he produces a word salad that’s hard to follow. So, Little People, Big World fans mock him some more. But when did he change?

Jeremy Roloff Changed A Lot

TLC fans remember the days when Jeremy was a smiling happy young teen, and some of the TLC viewers even crushed on him back then. But, he seems to be a far cry from a happy person now. On Reddit. Little People, Big World fan u/StuckChoosingUserID wondered when he first became “weird.”

Unimpressed by Jeremy Roloff now, the OP wrote:

That moment Jeremy got “weird”?…Seen all seasons over and over, yes I have no life. Noticed that around 17-18 years old on the show he suddenly stopped being that smiling happy person, and just had the face of “superior” or “I just don’t care” type of face. Something happened then? This is just my opinion, and wonder if anyone else saw it?

Well, it turns out that plenty of other TLC fans saw the change in Jeremy Roloff and they think they know when it happened.

TLC Fans Discuss The Shine That Dimmed

Little People, Big World fans mostly agreed that Matt Roloff’s son changed when he went off to study photography at some sort of college. And, that coincided with him meeting Audrey Roloff. Here are some of their thoughts:

• It’s when he went off to college. Whenever they would show him after he left for college, he acted like he was God’s gift to mankind.
• YES!!! He was so snobby and wore that stupid hat. Also, started calling everything “peculiar”
• DONT YOU REMEMBER THAT it’s how he described everything. He would also say “brilliant” ALL THE TIME! Like we get it jer, you’re an intellectual.
• I believe Zach and jer wasn’t very close by then, I think jer just got some weird “omg I got all figured”. Remember when he tried out for high league soccer? He honestly thought he was awesome.
• I think by 18 or so Jeremy realized he wasn’t as smart or talented as his parents led him to believe. He wasn’t prepared to take on the world. That created cognitive dissonance and likely depression. I think since then all the “weird” (including hooking up with Oddrey) is an attempt to justify his Golden Boy status without having to take actual risks.
