Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Sal Stowers Talks Susan Seaforth Hayes’ Strength & Twin Bonding
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Sal Stowers has returned as Lani Price-Grant. As of right now, it seems to be a temporary return based on what Lani told Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) on the Thursday, November 28, 2024, episode.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Stowers talked about Susan Seaforth Hayes’ (Julie Williams) death during Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) death storyline. The actress also gushed about the babies who play her on-screen twins. Let’s get started!
Lani Price-Grant’s Return
DOOL spoilers reveal that Lani has returned to Salem with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). Abe suggested that Lani’s family could move back to town and she could play a cop on Body & Soul.
While Lani appreciated the offer, she declined. Lani explained that Eli loves his job in DC, the twins love their friends, and the former cop was excited to work part-time at the kids’ preschool. So, unless Lani and Eli change their minds, it doesn’t seem as if they are staying.
Coinciding with Lani and Eli’s return is Doug’s death.
DOOL Spoilers: Susan Seaforth Hayes’ Strength
In the SOD interview, Stowers addressed Susan’s strength. Not only were Doug and Julie on-screen spouses, the actors were also married in real life.
Some fans have wondered about how hard it was for Susan to play out learning Doug had died in his sleep after having to deal with it in real life. Some fans worried that Susan was being unnecessarily retraumatized. Stowers addressed that a bit,
“This was Susan’s real-life circumstance that she had just gone through, and she was having to relive it all over again. I just want to speak to the woman that Susan is. For her to carry herself with such poise and grace through this… She was so put together during this really hard time in her life. It was absolutely beautiful and sad to watch, but I was really impressed by that.”
ELANI Twin Bonding
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that fans were excited to see Eli and Lani return with their twins, Jules Grant (Dion and Raegen Yancy] and Carver Grant (Zyair and Zamir Ashford). The actress gushed about how wonderful it is to really connect and bond with the baby actors.
“We have a new set of twins playing Carver. The little guy we got to work with was the star of the show. He just wanted all the attention, and it was so sweet. He was such a natural.
Our girls, Jules, are the same, Dion and Raegen. When we first started working with them, they were so shy, but they were so much more receptive of us this time.
We got to pick them up, and they weren’t crying. We got to see their personalities more, and their vocabulary has expanded so we could have more conversations with them. It’s so special creating a little relationship with kids when you’re playing their mom and them not being afraid and being more open to you.

Stowers also talked about Bill’s death. Stowers mentioned that she and Lamon both got to work closely with Bill as well as Susan. Now that Bill has passed away, Stowers keeps remembering him always singing “My Gal Sal” each time he saw her.
As for whether Eli and Lani could make Salem their home again, Stowers says it’s a possibility and she’s open to it.
