Fans know that Clyde has been dangling their mom, which he is holding hostage, above their heads. The plan to fake Chad out into believing Abby was alive was all the criminal’s doing.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is already on to Mark and his role in the tampering with the DNA tests; however, as upset as Steve is, once he learns the truth, he can’t be overly mad at the siblings.

After all, he and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), along with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) once helped Clyde escape from prison when he had, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and his gal pal, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) held captive.

Days spoilers note that while the preview shows Mark shooting at Chad/Fake Abigail during the October 14-18 preview video, he’ll likely miss and no one will get hurt. The truth about “Abby” will come out, and the reason behind the scheme, too.

Chad will be shocked, upset, and hurt – but will he retaliate on the siblings or show some compassion? Surely, Steve will pipe up and possibly defend the Greenes, and why they did what they did.

Could the four come together and think of a plan to save Momma Greene and bring Clyde down in the process? This is the land of Salem where anything is possible! If anyone can rescue Ms. Greene from Clyde’s grips, it’s Steve (along with Chad, “Abby”, and Mark’s help).
