Audrey Roloff Chided For Pain-Free Home Birth Claim
Little People, Big World alum Audrey Roloff welcomed her fourth baby during a home birth but TLC fans chided her for suggesting that it’s a pain-free option. Notably, the comments arrived on Instagram, a much more forgiving platform than Reddit.
Audrey Rollof Gave Birth In A Water Tub
Jeremy Roloff always wanted at least four kids, and his wife seems to enjoy being a mom. However, she often gets slammed by critics for allegedly making dangerous parenting decisions. Mirabella arrived in May this year, and this weekend, the Little People, Big World alum shared that her birth story was ready.
With baby number 4, Audrey Roloff decided to go with a water tub birth at home. All of her kids got their birth stories revealed after they arrived. Many Little People, Big World fans like to watch that sort of thing. And, as the TLC alum is an influencer, what she says could impact the decision-making of her followers.
TLC Alum Talks ‘Birth With No Pain’
On Instagram this weekend, the former Little People, Big World star shared a short reel, and in her text overly, she wrote, “The moment I fully realized I could give birth with no pain.” She also wrote a long blurb about how people could watch by sending a DM, and she advised about podcasts and that sort of thing.
Giving birth without pain sounds like a Godsend to many TLC fans. After all, it’s the fear of pain that becomes a reality. And, tough luck if you don’t like it. That baby’s coming and there’s no running away from the issue at hand. While pain levels differ, the chances of zero pain seem slim, even with an epidural, so some followers chided Audrey Roloff.
Experienced Fans Chide Jeremy’s Wife
Because the people who commented were on Instagram, they didn’t rip Audrey a new one. But in their own way, they let her know that they disagreed that natural birth could be totally pain-free. Here are some of those comments:
- I’ve had 7 homebirths babies with this mindset. Some more painful than others. It is possible to have less pain in births but I also feel like we need to accept that sometimes labor even with the right mindset can still be intense…
- I also gave birth naturally with no pain medication, and just me and my husband and we have been married 36 years. Natural birth is amazing however it’s not pain free. I don’t want future moms to think if you have a natural home birth with meditation, music, and candles you will have a pain free birth.
