Zayn Malik Shouts Out ‘The Most Important Person’ In His Life

Former X-Factor star and member of One Direction, Zayn Malik shouted out the most important person in his life, and it wasn’t super-model, Gigi Hadid. Instead, the 31-year-old shared a sweet message for their daughter, four-year-old Khai Hadid Malik.

After the rush of success when Simon Cowell formed One Direction, the musician soon tired of his creativity being stifled in the boyband and he went solo. The pressure of touring with such popularity made him develop an eating disorder, and eventually, the boyband came to an end with Harry Styles also going solo.

Zayn Malik hooked up with Gigi Hadid in 2016, and they had an on-again-off-again relationship. However, they remained together until 2021 a year after she welcomed her baby, Khai. They lived a fairly quiet life together, as they spent time on their farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. But, things went south when her mom claimed he assaulted her. 

Khai Is The Most Important Person

The same month that Khai arrived, her dad released a single titled “Better,” and many X-Factor fans wondered if the baby lay behind it, as he contemplated becoming a dad. He stepped up for his baby girl and nowadays, he gets kudos for doing that.

On Friday, Zayn Malik took to his Instagram and shared a photo of himself on the beach with Khai. He held her as they looked out over the water with their backs to the camera.  In his caption, the famous musician wrote:

Happy birthday to the most important person in my life, I love you more than words allow me to express, beyond proud to call you my daughter…grateful for every second I get to spend next to you, as you become the incredible person I know you already are. Four years ago today my life changed forever and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without you
