‘The Little Couple’ Jen Arnold Grateful After Hurricane Helene

The Little Couple fans know that Dr. Jen Arnold and her family are no strangers to hurricanes. In fact, she once claimed that thinks she’s some sort of hurricane magnet. This week, the former TLC star said that she feels grateful in the wake of Hurricane Helene which destroyed property and took lives in Florida. 

Jen Arnold Missed Hurricane Helene

The Little Couple stars relocated to Boston in 2022, so they don’t get to experience hurricanes as often as they did when they lived in  St. Petersburg, Florida. Sometimes, they visit Florida as her parents and other relative still live in the state. But she and the kids were not there this past week. 

When they lived in Florida, the kids had an idyllic lifestyle, fishing, boating, and horseriding. However, they also faced the annual dangers of incoming hurricanes which seem to be increasing in ferocity. However, Jen Arnold’s family in Florida went through the surges and they experienced damage from Hurricane Helene. 

The Little Couple Star Feels Grateful 

While there is mourning, sorrow, and hardship in Florida right now, the doctor who works at the John Hopkins Children’s Hospital isn’t crying over the damage her family experienced. Instead, she feels a lot of empathy for those who struggle. But, she also feels very grateful because her relatives could have suffered a worse fate than flooding. 

TLC alum Jen Arnold posted some slides with a text overlay that said, “So many lost so much in Hurricane Helene…My family included but thankful they survived.” Then, in her caption The Little Couple mom added more, saying:

Please keep all those impacted by Hurricane Helene in your thoughts and prayers. So many lost so much due to the surge. My aunt and uncle’s home ruined with 3+feet of water. Thankful they and my parents are safe. It could have been worse, but my hometown St. Pete is going through a lot. Will be awhile to recover. Thinking of all our friends and family down there.
