General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Wakes Up Believing She’s Married To Dante

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) has been by Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) side ever since he discovered that his comatose ex-wife was dying from liver failure.

Lulu has developed cirrhosis of the liver from the medication she’s been on since her brain injury almost four years ago.

While Lulu’s mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has gone to Africa in search of Lulu’s brother Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) in hopes he will be a donor match for a liver transplant, Dante has been by Lulu’s side, urging her to hang on.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri and Lulu Spencer were married for many years

Dante and Lulu were happily married for many years until Dante left Port Charles to take an undercover assignment with the WSB. Dante was gone for months on end and when he returned, he wasn’t the same.

He had been brainwashed and it quickly became clear that he could pose a threat to everyone around him, especially Lulu. Dante left to undergo extensive deprogramming with the WSB.

Not knowing when or if he would be able to come home, Dante sent divorce papers to Lulu. Eventually, Lulu signed the papers and entered into a relationship with schoolteacher Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson).

GH Spoilers – Tragedy came to Port Charles

Dante came back home eventually, but by then Lulu had moved on with Dustin. Dustin even proposed to Lulu but before she could answer, an explosion rocked the Floating Rib.

Dustin was killed and Lulu eventually succumbed to her head injury and became comatose. Lulu has remained in that state ever since.

But what Dante doesn’t know is that Lulu had confided in Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) that she was still in love with Dante. With Lulu gone, Dante eventually found love with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer will wake up soon!

Lulu will certainly wake up soon from her coma now that a new actress has been cast in the part. But when Lulu wakes up, she’s likely to be quite different than the woman she was.

Much has been said about how Lulu lost her spark when Dante left her, so that’s likely the Lulu who will wake up. She may even have amnesia and believe that she and Dante are still married.

Dante won’t have the heart to tell Lulu that he’s moved on, so he may just go along with Lulu’s delusion even though it could mean the end of his relationship with Sam.
