OutDaughtered fans welcomed Adam and Danielle Busby back from their long hiatus and unfortunately, they became disappointed. In fact, they hoped it was edited a lot because Danielle seemed sulky and demanding. And, Adam couldn’t do anything right. In the trailer for their podcast, the overly dramatic TLC show was one admission they made.
The most recent season of the TLC show revealed that things were so bad with Adam being an irresponsible dad, that they needed to get in a nanny. A lot of snarking from Danielle let everyone know that she thought very little of her husband. In fact, it all seemed very contrived and overdone. So, many viewers thought that it came across as a living nightmare, or alternatively, as fake. At least, they hoped it was fake because it brought shades of Kate Gosselin’s toxicity.
Adam and Danielle Busby shocked fans when he opened up about struggling to love his wife. In fact, the OutDaughtered star felt he got more love from the kids than from her. Despite talking badly to him and never giving him much affection on the TLC show, Danielle Busby felt that she had been “stabbed in the heart.” Hold my beer, Kody Brown!!
Ahead of the weekend, Adam and Danielle Busby dropped the trailer for their new podcast on YouTube. Actually, it was typical of just about every TLC star who ever started a podcast there. Adam explained that they have a reality TV show and social media, but they want to interact with fans so they can meet who they really are.
Nothing startling arrived, but Danielle Busby kept interrupting him to talk about how “intimate” they would be, Or not intimate, depending on the definition of intimacy. That aside, TLC fans mostly reacted well in the comments because they enjoyed the show in the olden days and many of them watched since the quints were babies.
In the comments, either Adam or Danielle Busby took the time to reply to some OutDaughtered fans. One of their followers wrote:
How in the world are you fitting in another thing! You must of gotten that help you were needing…
The reply that came back revealed that the TLC show is edited to make it look very dramatic. It said “This is just one of the very things that we are doing the podcast about. Having a television show, things tend to get keyed in on and over dramatized for dramatic effect. Naturally watching our television show, things seem way more difficult and dramatic than “reality.”
What are your thoughts on the new podcast that Adam and Danielle Busby shared a trailer for? Will you tune into More Than Reality? Are you glad that they admitted the show is edited in such a way to make it much more dramatic than it really is?
