Sweet Home Sextuplets: Courtney Waldrop Reveals Career Change

This week, Sweet Home Sextuplets alum, Courtney Waldrop told her 600k+ followers on social media that she’s taken a change of course in her career. With the six little kids, Blu, Rivers, Rayne, Rawlings, Tag, and Layke now at school, she’s free to think about more than parenting. 

Courtney Waldrop Has Nine Kids To Think About 

This year, Saylor is in Grade 10 at high school. Meanwhile, the twins, Bridge and Wales moved into the 6th Grade. On social media, the former TLC star told her fans that the little kids would be back in kindergarten for the second time. Nobody is sure why, but she did teach, so maybe she knows best. 

Courtney Waldrop has nine kids to think about. And, that seems like a lot of concerns for one person and her livestock-rearing husband, Eric. Still, with all the kids in school, at least that gives her time to think about her own needs and desires. So, her career is on her mind. 

Sweet Home Sextuplets Mom Talks Career Change

On Monday, the Sweet Home Sextuplets mom took to her Instagram and revealed her change of plans with her career. Accompanying the post, was a photo of herself and the six little children clustered around her. The three boys wore matching shirts and the girls wore the same dresses and bows in their hair. Behind them, the lake looked cool. 

Courtney Waldrop explained in her long caption that she used to teach but once she fell pregnant with the sextuplets, she couldn’t find the energy to do so. Therefore, she left. Previously, she taught children in “First Grade for 14 years!” Seven years after leaving teaching, she is returning to her old career but with a difference. 

The TLC alum also said:

I loved [teaching] so much. I loved everything about it from my students to all the people I worked with. Everyone was so good to me when I had to stop teaching…helping me in so many ways!!
Since then I bet I’ve been asked a million times if I thought I would ever go back to teaching and my answer always is ‘I’m never going to say never…but not sure if I can right now.”

The surprise twist is that she’s going back to teaching, only this time, in a “part-time” role. Furthermore, she’s going back to teaching back “with [her] babies.” In the end, the TLC star noted, “I walked out the school doors with these SIX in my belly and now I’m walking back in with these SIX holding my hand.”
