General Hospital Spoilers: Katelyn MacMullen Talks Drew & Willow’s Fling + Working With Cameron Mathison

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are playing a dangerous game. The two shared a lip lock back on the Fourth of July, and while they’ve tried to move past it; however, Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) wife is having a hard time shaking off her feelings for her hubby’s uncle.

To make things even stickier, Drew is having a hush-hush affair with Willow’s mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Actress Katelyn MacMullen recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about her character’s growing attraction to Drew, and how it is working with Cameron Mathison.

GH Spoilers: Katelyn McMullen Is Trying To Have “As Much Fun” As Possible

GH spoilers hint that as awful as affairs are, they make for good daytime television. Mullen notes that when she and Cameron first began having one-on-one scenes together, they weren’t exactly sure what the writers had planned. Both felt as if “something” was “brewing”. In fact, Chad Duell would see the two together and state, “What’s going on over here?! Why are you guys talking?! What is this?!”, while Cameron and Katelynn would retort back, “We don’t know yet!”

The three initially laughed it off, and Katelyn notes in the SOD interview that she and Cameron are trying to have, “… as much fun with it as possible, which has been great.”

GH Spoilers: Katelyn MacMullen On Cameron Mathison

Katelyn states that Cameron is “incredible” to work with, adding, “He is so professional and talented and lovely and he’s just truly a dream to work with.”

She adds that once the two realized the reason behind Willow and Drew’s scenes, and scripts were coming in, making it clear where this storyline was headed, MacMullen states she and Cameron were like, “Okay! We’re gonna just go with this! We are going to have so much fun!”

She goes on to say that the two started shooting ideas on how to play out scenes and ran lines together. They got set direction, as well, but it’s clear both Katelyn and Cameron are dedicated to ensuring this storyline plays out as perfectly as possible, considering how messy things will get moving forward!
