The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is GC’s poster boy for family traitor. For the second time he has turned against his dad/employer Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) by going to work for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
This time Kyle is co-CEO at Glissade and Jack is volcanic at the thought of his dimwit son being used against him. Because Jack never betrayed his own dad John Abbott …
Kyle’s mom Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) fired him for insubordination and now she and Jack are trying to do damage control.
What they don’t know is that Victor wants Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to also do his best to ruin Jabot.
Has Victor put Adam into play because he knows he can’t trust Kyle?
On Y&R’s July 12 episode Adam questioned the loyalty of Kyle and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and he was absolutely right to do so.
At some point, Kyle may realize he’s being a giant douche and team up with Jack. Victor wasn’t born yesterday, if he’s smart he will already be planning for this event!
Victor is pushing Kyle’s buttons by ordering him around and telling Audra things behind his back; this may be his way of testing Kyle.
Kyle has another problem and that is Victor’s granddaughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) who is threatening to take full custody of their son.
Diane is savvy and she could sacrifice her position and give it to Kyle if it means helping Jack and Jabot. At some point Kyle has to come to his senses, right?
If Kyle can gain some key intel at Glissade first, he and Jack would be a tough match against Victor and serial betrayer Audra.
Victor also has his eye on Kyle due to his budding relationship with granddaughter Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). Somehow we see the writing on the wall, Kyle will either have to fully defect to the Newman side or turn against Victor if he wants to survive.
