The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Her Mother’s Daughter, Summer Lets Her Inner Phyllis Out On Kyle

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is doing everything she can to make sure she gets more custody rights of Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) right now, and it’s been a strange storyline, mostly because she has no relation with Harrison other than being a step-mom figure for a little bit.

However, her fight for more custody continues, and we actually explained that she could have a case with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) after he hired Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to be Harrison’s nanny directly after she was released from a mental institution!

Summer could explain that this is child endangerment, and with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) cashing in on the bills, she could afford a pretty hefty lawyer.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Summer Let’s It Out

Summer has been pretty tame in recent memory, especially since Allison Lanier took over the role from Hunter King. However, it looks like she may finally let the genie out of the bottle and channel her inner Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

We know how Phyllis can be, with her devilish ways and manipulation and we think it’s about time for Summer to show her true colors.

We know that Summer is bottling some anger up inside for Kyle already, and now it’s time for her to make her move.

We suspect we could see Summer manipulate the authorities about Kyle and his endangerment of Harrison, potentially even planting evidence or luring Kyle into doing something terrible.

Y&R Spoilers – Would Phyllis Be Proud?

While Phyllis hasn’t been a saint over the years, surely she’s not proud of the way she’s handled things. We wonder if, after decades of torment and chaos, Phyllis wouldn’t want to see her daughter follow in her footsteps and do everything she could to make sure Summer didn’t do anything crazy.

It’d be a weird twist of fate if Summer plotted against Kyle, and we saw Phyllis take the dive for her daughter. Of course, we think if it gets this far, Summer should come clean and serve her own time, but a mother’s love goes pretty far.

For example, Phyllis could catch Summer sneaking into Kyle’s home at night, and up getting Summer out before someone found them, taking the fall for Summer and hopefully teaching her a lesson.
