Bold & The Beautiful Spoilers: Alum Pierson Fodé Joins Bumble Movie As Lily James’ Love Interest

Bold & The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers note that it’s been a long while since fans have seen Pierson Fodé in the land of daytime drama. The actor played Thomas Forrester on Bold from 2015 to 2018, and then actor Matthew Atkinson took over the role in 2019.

Pierson has worked on other projects since his B&B stint, and now it seems he’s landed a huge part in a major upcoming movie.

As per Deadline, Fodé has landed a major film role, playing one of the love interests of star Lily James in the Bumble movie. The flick centers around how Bumble Founder, Whitney Wolfe Herd, came up with the dating app concept. Pierson, aged 32, hopped on Instagram to share the news with fans.

He wrote: “My great aunt read this and said I’m ‘officially the Hollywood Cowboy!’ She also said a spoonful of lard is good for the arteries… The good news is that @lilyjamesofficial and my line dancing skills are off the charts. Honored to join the bada$$ cast and crew that are telling this incredible story.”

While he was only in the land of soaps for a short while, Fodé made a huge impact, earning two Daytime Emmy nods in the Younger Actor category; one in 2016 and another the following year.

Pierson has also had multiple primetime appearances on shows like, Supergirl, iCarly, and Animal Kingdom, just to name a few. More recently, he’s worked on movies The Men In My Life and The Man From Toronto.
