The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that a casting call has been put out for a new character named Miriam. Based on the description for the character, it sounds like it could be Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) friend from college.

With Faith coming back, it would make sense to bring some new college-aged characters on the scene. So, let’s talk about Miriam’s description and what could happen with Faith when she zooms back in Genoa City.

Y&R spoilers reveal that SoapHub reported that in the comings and goings, a casting call has been issued for Miriam. Now, Miriam is described as being a college student around 21 years of age. Miriam is gorgeous, intelligent, and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

Now, often times in casting calls, the actual character name isn’t used. It wouldn’t be any fun if we already knew everything! Going back to Miriam, we are thinking she might come to Genoa City from Faith’s college.

Perhaps Miriam doesn’t have a home to go back to or has conflict with her family. Miriam might even be from Genoa City or a nearby town, too.

Y&R Spoilers: Faith Newman Returns

It has already been reported that Reylynn Caster is coming back to play Faith. Fans know that Faith got involved in Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) harrowing storyline with Cameron Kirsten (Ashby Linden).

After that, Faith needed some counseling, then decided to return to college.

With the way soaps zoom through childhoods, it’s possible Faith might have already graduated from college when she returns.

Young Additions Needed

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that for a time, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) came back. Then, Noah got together with Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) secret daughter, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).

Even though fans adored Allie and Noah together, they really didn’t have any storylines.

It would be nice to have Noah, Allie, and other young adults return. When Faith comes back, it won’t be long before someone might catch her eye.

So, there definitely needs to be some age-appropriate possibilities. Perhaps Faith and Miriam will end up in a love triangle.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Unexpected Villain?

There is also a possibility that Miriam isn’t a good person. Faith has been roped into friendships and dynamics before that weren’t healthy or safe.

Maybe Miriam’s goal is to target the Newman family’s wealth. It’s also possible that Miriam is already secretly connected to someone in Genoa City… that would certainly be suspenseful, especially if viewers weren’t clued in right away.
