Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that fans are sighing a huge breath of relief now that the Abbott family knows Ashely Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID) and is getting help.

As a psychiatrist and friend, Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) has been a huge help to Ashley. Instead of heading to a facility, Alan has encouraged Ashley to head back to Paris so they can both figure out the source of her trauma and the reason her DID has surfaced.

But, could this be a trap?

Y&R spoilers suggest that Alan doesn’t only seem like a good person, but a genuine friend. It was nice of him to make the trip from Paris to Genoa City; however, in the land of soaps, most psychopaths start as “nice” at first.

Alan seems to think Ashley’s trauma occurred sometime during her honeymoon in Paris. She’s hesitant to go to a facility because of a past bad experience so it’s great that Alan has recommended this alternate “Paris” idea; however, it’s hard for fans not to be skeptical that there’s something off. Most doctors would push treatment, and the fact that Alan is allowing this as a pass seems sketchy.

Ashley’s talked a lot about her “friend” in Paris; the source of her trauma happened in Paris; could this all be connected? Could Alan be the reason behind her trauma, and what exactly did he do to Ashley? Or did she see something he did? Is he luring her back to Paris to eliminate her as a threat?

Y&R Spoilers: Tucker McCall Saves The Day

Alan and Ashley are headed to Paris; however, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) may not be too far away. After all, Tucker could be headed to the city for Glissade business and run into the duo at some point. Paris is a huge city, but in the land of soaps, it’s completely plausible that McCall will cross paths with Alan and Ashley, right?

Could Tucker save the day for Ashley if she finds herself in trouble or a sticky situation with Alan at the helm of it all?
