General Hospital Star Donnell Turner’s Dream Becomes Reality When He Visits “Jeopardy”

Most would agree that actor Donnell Turner, who plays Curtis Ashford on the ABC daytime drama General Hospital (GH), has a “dream job” many would kill for.

Still, he also got to live out another dream recently when he paid a visit to the long-running game show, Jeopardy.

After taping some GH scenes on Tuesday, Donnell headed to the Jeopardy set and met host, Ken Jennings. A longtime fan of the show, the moment was a big one for Turner, so of course he had to record it and then post it to his Instagram handle!

Donnell shared a photo of him and Jennings, with a caption that wrote, “Hanging out with the GOAT, Ken Jennings, after work yesterday as a guest, not a contestant (Yet!).”

Donnell also added in the IG caption, “Thank you sir, your kind spirit and charm made this unforgettable for me. A salute to the whole crew, from security to producers, you all were beyond exceptional.

This was BIG for me! If you know me, you know this is my program and an unequivocal pinch me moment. Stay tuned for more y’all.”

As most fans know, Jennings was once a highly successful contestant on Jeopardy, himself. Between 2021 and 2023 he and Mayim Bialik alternated as hosts, until he became the permanent main host in December 2023.

Is Turner’s IG post teasing about a possible contestant-run on Jeopardy? He does tell fans to “stay tuned for more”.

GH fans would likely love to see Donnell on Jeopardy, and if they don’t tune into the game show regularly, then they would definitely make an exception.

Still, Turner is busier than ever on GH and holds a staple role in the land of Port Charles as Curtis Ashford. He’s not only diving into a new job at the media conglomerate, Aurora, but he also has his hands full with all the drama his family deals with!
