Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) is struggling right now. While she was happy to learn she was expecting, at first, now that she knows her baby is at risk because of radiation exposure, she’s not only conflicted on whether or not to proceed with the pregnancy but is also trying to come to terms with the role her mom played in the entire thing.

What if Chanel loses her baby. Will she ever be able to forgive Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) for what she did?

Days Spoilers: Paulina Price Crossed A Line

DOOL spoilers state that had Paulina not been so impulsive, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) would’ve likely found Chanel. Salem’s mayor was under strict orders to stay isolated and away from people because of her radiation treatment.

She decided to save the day when she realized Chanel had gone missing up at the Horton Cabin during a snowstorm, and she placed a lot of people at risk, including her daughter and unborn grandchild.

While Paulina was able to save Chanel, her baby could face birth defects. Even if the child ends up being okay, Chanel will suffer a tremendous amount of stress during her pregnancy, rather than enjoy it as most women do.

But, what if the unthinkable happens?

Chanel is leaning toward keeping the baby. After all, children are a blessing. Johnny wants to support whatever his wife decides, and the two are fully aware that raising a special needs child may take a toll on their relationship. It’s a risk they are willing to take.

But, what if the decision to proceed with this pregnancy is not their own? What if Chanel suffers a miscarriage before any testing can be done?

She’ll be sad, hurt, and she might also be angry at her mom. There’s a good chance doctors will point to the radiation exposure as the reason behind the loss, and this will infuriate Chanel.

She already had a major blowout with Paulina during the Friday, May 10 episode. Paulina wanted to check in on Chanel, while Chanel just wanted to be left alone.

She accused her mom of making this all about herself, once again. There was rage in Chanel’s voice, and she made it clear that she had animosity against her mom for what she did during the snowstorm.
