Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that while Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) is trying to remain cool, calm, and collected when it comes to hubby Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) being Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) AA sponsor; although viewers know it’s really rubbing her the wrong way.

Could an incident trigger her enough to drop the iron fist where this “friendship” is concerned?

Y&R spoilers note that Nikki will fall off the wagon again, as viewers saw her take a swig of vodka during Thursday’s show. After giving into temptation once again, she’ll need Jack now, more than ever.

Diane isn’t overly thrilled that Nikki and Jack are spending so much time together. It seems like at every turn, there’s Nikki, leaning on her husband.

Of course, this is one of the reasons why Diane loves Jack so much; however, watching their bond strengthen has rattled her nerves, and has created some concern for her.

Still, Diane knows she has to play the supportive wife, after all, considering the history between her and Nikki, she doesn’t want to do anything that may cause Jack to wonder about her personality.

She’s worked hard to prove she’s a changed woman, and one big part of that is exhibiting confidence and showing Jack that she trusts him and their love.

Y&R Spoilers: Nikki’s Drunken Stumble

Fans can see that Jack becoming Nikki’s AA sponsor would cause conflict in both of their relationships, from a mile away. So, what if Nikki gets drunk, and calls Jack?

During the entire thing, she could cross a line by kissing him. It’ll completely be a misunderstanding, as fans know that it’s the alcohol and not Nikki doing this, but what if Diane sees the lip lock?

Jack will likely push Nikki away, so there will be no confusion around his intentions; however, Diane may see this as an opportunity to put a halt on the AA sponsorship thing. Could she rage first, and then present an ultimatum: either Nikki goes, or I go?
